About Pinnie

How did I come up with the idea?
As a mother of a beautiful daughter, Elin, I quickly discovered that most hair clips just weren’t suitable for her fine hair. They kept slipping out, and it felt like there were no good options that actually stayed in place. I wanted something that wasn’t just functional but also looked cute and unique—a clip that perfectly matched the soft, playful character of my daughter.

Since I couldn’t find clips that met these expectations, I decided to make them myself. What started as a simple solution to a personal problem quickly turned into a passion for creating baby hair clips. This is how the idea for Pinnie was born. The name is a tribute to my daughter, Elin, whom we affectionately call "Elinnie Pinnie" as a playful nickname, since her name doesn’t really lend itself to being shortened.
